This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working directly with the CEO in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be involved in critical projects, contributing to our company’s growth and launching our first instrument. This role carries significant responsibility and accountability, making it ideal for someone eager to learn, grow, and take on challenges within the industry. We are currently looking for two candidates who will work together to ensure smooth operations. One candidate will focus on internal matters working closely with the research team and operations, while the other position will focus more on external affairs and work closely with Marketing and Business Development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaise directly with the CEO, supporting various projects and working with different departments.
  • Assisting with the launch of our first instrument and supporting various tasks that will help grow the company.
  • Coordinating meetings, managing schedules, and organizing events.
  • Handle communications, both internal and external, professionally and efficiently.
  • Support the team in translating Delta’s research into business

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a business degree (e.g.Commercial Economy, Business Administration) with an interest in Life Sciences or vice versa.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, quick on their feet, and stress-resistant.
  • Interest in life sciences is a plus.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain and Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic team. The Supply Chain and Purchasing Officer will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our supply chain processes and purchasing activities to ensure the seamless flow of materials and products necessary for the success of our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong organizational skills and a background in supply chain management and purchasing within the life science industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Manage inventory levels to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs.
  • Oversee the purchasing process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
