Job Description:
Delta Diagnostics is seeking a motivated Software Engineer with proficiency in Python and C++. As a Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our projects, contributing to the development of software for label-free biosensing instruments.. This position is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to 5 years of experience looking to contribute to cutting-edge technical projects in a highly multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities:
· Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for label-free biosensing instruments, primarily using Python and C++.
· Matlab Integration: Collaborate with teams to integrate Matlab components and algorithms into software applications.
· Testing and Optimization: Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization of software applications.
· Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional, multidisciplinary, and often international teams, including engineers, scientists, and project managers, to achieve project objectives.
· Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of software designs, specifications, and testing procedures.
· Quality Assurance: Participate in quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Requirements:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
· Experience: 0-5 years of experience in software development, including proficiency in Python and C++. Experience with Matlab is a plus. Familiarity with software development best practices.
· Matlab Experience: Experience with Matlab for scientific and engineering applications is a plus.
· Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Problem Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
· Team Player: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
· Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
